The West Australian State Emergency Service (WA-SES) is a division of the Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) made up of approximately 2100 volunteers from every walk of life, who give up their time to help others during emergency situations.

Bayswater SES was established in the late 1960's, and the unit currently has 57 members. It is located on the corner of Clavering & Raleigh Streets, Bayswater.
